2008 Triathlon
The club’s 4th annual triathlon took place on 22nd June and again proved to be a very popular and successful event with 125 entries from various clubs.

The weather was again kind to us, with a dry, sunny although very windy day.

The conditions helped to keep the competitors cool but also made parts of the bike leg a challenge against the wind.

The racing in the 10 categories was very competitive with some of the winning times only a few seconds ahead of the 2nd and third places.

Again, a big thank you to all of the marshalls, time keepers, lap counters, BBQ and food servers who helped to make the event run smoothly.
